Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are your fees?

Each session is 50 minutes in length and is $140 per session. The fee is due in full at the time services are rendered unless previous arrangements have been made.

Do you accept insurance?

My practice is now a provider for Headway.co and is able to offer in-network benefits for United Healthcare, Oscar Health, Aetna, and Oxford. If you have this type of insurance and plan to use it to cover the cost of your sessions please let me know so I can send you the necessary intake paperwork. Otherwise, I am able to give clients a SuperBill so that they may  submit to their insurance carrier for reimbursement.

Can I seek reimbursements from my insurance company?

I provide receipts (SuperBills) to help assist you in seeking reimbursement from insurance plans. This usually is done once a month, and please let me know if you will be submitting to your insurance carrier. You will need to contact your insurance company directly and ask them if they cover an out-of-network counselor who is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Texas and how to seek reimbursements after paying for your own sessions.  *Please note that when submitting receipts for your reimbursement, insurance companies require that I provide a mental health diagnosis. This diagnosis will become a part of your permanent medical record.

Do you accept credit cards?

I accept all major credit cards and can set up autopay for your convenience. I also am able to accept FSA/HSA cards. If your appointment is cancelled within the 24-hour required window, your card is not charged.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

I require a 24-hour minimum cancellation window to allow waitlist individuals an opportunity to be seen. For appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice and for no shows, you will be charged the full session fee. Exceptions are made due to extenuating circumstances and are at the full discretion of the therapist.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can either send me a message on the contact page or email me directly at gilleanwademft@gmail.com.  I am in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Please let me know your availability and I will try my best to accommodate.  After we confirm an available time, I will email you some intake forms that you may fill out through a secure online portal.
